Adanma is the Joint Venture Asset Manager for Shell Exploration & Production Africa’s Midstream division, responsible for driving governance, maximizing value and managing risk for Shell’s interest in the Nigeria LNG venture. She also represents Shell as a Board member in various companies- West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCO), Bonny Gas Transport (BGT), N‑Gas Ltd, and NLNG Ship Management Limited (NSML), supporting value delivery across West Africa and globally.
She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, U.K. , is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), U.K and also a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), U.K. She has over 20 years of oil and gas experience, working with British Gas Transco and Shell in the UK, Nigeria, and the Netherlands.
Adanma previously worked as an Operations Manager with the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC), where she managed the integration of production and plant operations delivering approximately 70% of SPDC’s liquids portfolio. She has extensive experience in process engineering management and has supported front‑end development in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region for exploration and new business opportunities with Shell Global Solutions International in the Netherlands.
She is passionate about high‑impact community initiatives and promoting STEM education for girls.
