Beverley is an award-winning and accomplished HR Leader and Shell HR Policy Manager with over 21 years of progressive specialist and generalist experience across Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (UK), a member of CIPM (Nigeria), a certified leadership coach from the renowned NeuroLeadership Institute, Beverley is recognized for shaping business-oriented people strategies that deliver top quartile performance, enhance employee experience, and promote an inclusive, thriving workplace culture.
In her current role as HR Policy Manager for Shell, Beverley leads the design, governance, and modernization of HR policies that drive performance, simplication and discipline as levers for effectiveness, compliance, and operational excellence. She partners with, global centres of excellence, senior business leaders to ensure policies remain agile, future-fit, and reflective of Shell’s global standards while enabling local competitiveness.
A key highlight of her career is her international assignment in Shell Brunei, where she successfully led the Policy and ER/IR team. In that role, Beverley strengthened constructive social partnership with employee representatives, visible leadership, management & employee relations, modernised local HR policies with her personal leadership style contributing significantly to improved employee experience, enhanced employee engagement and strengthened organisational credibility with critical stakeholders.
