Yemi Adesanya is a Chartered Accountant with cross-functional experience of 25+ years in financial services, IT services, and consulting. She has worked in various capacities on strategy formulation and execution support, management accounting and performance management, financial control, business process engineering, and ERP implementations, enterprise risk management, financial risk management, and internal controls.

Over the span of her career and in FirstBank, she has held various positions, including Head Business Performance Mgt, and Acting Group Chief Financial Officer. She is currently FirstBank’s Financial Controller.

Yemi is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and an alumna of various business schools, including Lagos Business School’s Advanced Management Development, European School of Management and Technology’s Executive Transition Program (ESMT Berlin), and London Business School’s CFO Program.
