Foluke Oyeleye is a distinguished Nigerian-born business leader, author, and corporate governance expert with over 25 years of multi-sectoral experience across telecommunications, finance, FMCG, and energy. She currently serves as a Director at Honeywell Group, where she oversees the conglomerate’s corporate office and international operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving strategic partnerships. Her extensive leadership portfolio includes serving as a Non-Executive Director for NGX Limited and First Registrars and Investor Services Limited, alongside memberships in the Institute of Directors (IoD) in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Her career is marked by significant milestones in the telecommunications industry. At Econet (now Airtel Nigeria), she was a key member of the foundational team that developed the business plan and successfully bid for a $285 million national wireless license. Later, as Acting CEO and Operations Director at Telecgsm Limited, she was instrumental in launching the first Nokia service center in West Africa and expanding franchise stores across the continent. Earlier in her career, she gained vital financial expertise as an Associate at FCMB Capital Markets.
An alumna of the University of Durham and Harvard Business School, Foluke is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. Beyond her corporate achievements, she is a passionate storyteller and educator. In 2020, she founded Tani Series, a publishing company dedicated to sharing inspiring stories of notable Nigerians to empower children and adults alike.
