Rentia joined Standard Bank in 2014 to develop and implement a strategy that positioned the bank as a leading funder of renewable energy and power projects in Africa.
Previously, she held key roles at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and Absa Bank. At IDC, she began in economic research before serving as an advisor to the Minister of Minerals and Energy. She later led the Wood & Paper Strategic Business Unit and the newly established Green Industries Unit.
Rentia holds a BSc (Hons), a Master’s in Business Leadership, and has completed an Executive Development Programme. She has been instrumental in driving renewable and power project funding across South Africa and the African continent.
