She has led complex change programs that strengthened operational resilience, improved financial results, and positioned organizations for long-term growth.
Folake played pivotal role in shaping corporate strategy, leading businesses to deliver consistent year-on-year growth and profitability and embedding a culture of operational discipline and strategic agility. Prior to this, she held senior leadership positions across diverse sectors, including Executive Director, Finance at Unilever Nigeria Plc, CFO for PES Group (Energy Services Company), Financial Controller at Nigerdock Nigeria Ltd, and various roles at Subsea7 S.A UK, Phillips Consulting Ltd, and Investment Banking & Trust Company (IBTC) Limited. Her sector experience spans FMCG, energy services, and management consulting, giving her a broad and strategic perspective on value creation across industries.
Folake is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Folake holds a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University.
