She plays a key role in advancing Mauritania’s development agenda under President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, promoting sustainable growth through stronger productive sectors. A passionate advocate for youth and women’s economic empowerment, she champions access to finance for startups and a supportive ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.

In recognition of her impact, she was appointed to the G7 Gender Equality Council by French President Emmanuel Macron in 2019 and awarded the “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite” by Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani in 2020. She was also named among the BBC’s 100 most influential women in the world.
