As TAQA CEO, Mrs. Kafafi undertakes managing the strategic policies of TAQA Arabia, through an amalgamated leadership ability, influencing skills, and in-depth energy industry expertise to deliver on the group’s targets, objectives, and profit uplift amidst aggressive economic and market challenges.
Mrs. Kafafi has been appointed as a board member for a diversified list of companies, including the Arabian Cement Company, the leading cement producer and seller in Egypt, Digital Finance Holding (DFIN), Egypt’s FinTech Platform for tech-based financial services startups, and Fawry Yawmy, an innovative fintech-based investment fund co-sponsored by both Misr Capital and Fawry.
Mrs. Kafafi was recently recognized by Forbes Middle East for the 4th year in a row, holding the 21st position of the 100 Power Businesswomen ranking. She was also chosen to be one of the Top Fifty Women performing in Egypt, besides being recently nominated by the global economics magazine for being the best CEO in the Energy Sector. She is also a long-standing member in the American Chamber of Commerce and has been recently nominated as a board member of the British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA).
