Itumeleng serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), bringing over 22 years of expertise in management consulting, banking, and financial services to her role. 

In her capacity as COO, Itumeleng spearheads critical facets of the JSE’s strategy, including enhancing client experience, fostering sustainability, and overseeing Human Resources. She also directs the operational functions of the JSE, encompassing Trading Operations and the Client Service Centre.

Itumeleng holds a BSC in Genetics and Biochemistry; and a global executive Master’s degree in Business Administration from the London School of Economics, HEC Paris and NYU Stern School of Business (TRIUM). Her outstanding contributions have earned her recognition as IBM’s Global Women in AI Honoree in 2020, placement among the top 100 Global Data Visionaries of 2020 by Truata and being named the Sowetan’s Woman of the Year in business for 2024.
